For the purpose of these terms
& conditions the following words shall have the following meanings:
a) “We”, “Us”, “Our”,
“A+” & “The Company” shall mean A+ Professional
Home Services Ltd
b) "The Customer”, “You”, “Your”,
shall mean the person or organisation for whom A+ Professional Home
Services Ltd agrees to carry out works &/or supply materials
c) "The Operative, Operator or Engineer shall
mean the representative appointed by The Company.

A+ Professional Home Services Ltd respects Your privacy.
Personal information [i.e. name, contact details and address] captured
by A+ will be used for the sole purpose of responding to Your request,
or to contact You with relevant information regarding Your request.
Under no circumstances will this information be shared with third parties
or used for spam. If You wish to remove or change Your information,
We will promptly take action to comply with Your request.
Quotation & Acceptance
By accepting A+ Professional Home Services Ltd's services by telephone,
e-mail or fax, the customer agrees to be bound by A+ Professional Home
Services Ltd's Terms and Conditions.
All quotes request will be dealt with directly within / from the A+
office. Inspection of property will only occur in the event that A+
deems it necessary or by clients request, where more detailed information
/ specific works are requested. Quotations given either by email, fax,
written [by Operator on day of inspection] or telephone shall remain
valid for a period of 30 days. A+ Professional Home Services Ltd reserves
the right to amend the initial quotation, should The Client's original
requirements change or the original specifications given through are
found not to be accurate. Differences in excess of 10% will be discussed
with The Client prior to the start of the work.
Cancellation
The customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job no less than 24 hours
prior to the agreed start time. The customer will be required to pay
£55 + VAT cancellation fee if any changes or cancellations to
date / time be made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
In the event that a lock-out occurs [Operator being turned away from
the site, no one on-site to allow the A+ team access to the property
or a problem with customer keys issued], The Client will be required
to pay the full price of the booked works. If keys are provided they
must open all locks without any special effort or skill. Key pick up
is a free of charge services if the pick up point is within the same
post code. An additional fee of £30 + VAT will be charged to cover
any cost incurred by The Company should We need to pick up keys due
to miscommunication and / or error on The Client’s part.
VAT
All A+ Professional Home Services Ltd prices are subject to VAT.
Equipment
A+ Professional Home Services Ltd shall provide all cleaning supplies,
products and carpet / soft furnishing cleaning equipment required to
carry out the service. The Client must provide running water and electricity
at the premises where the service takes place.
Payment
On booking a quotation with A+ Professional Home Services Ltd, We reserve
the right to request full Debit or Credit card details to confirm/secure
Your booking. All outstanding balances for the services carried out
are payable by Cash, MasterCard/Visa, Debit Card [Maestro], Switch or
Solo upon completion of the job on the day of the service. A+ Professional
Home Services Ltd does not accept AMEX, Diners Club or Cheques (Credit
Cards incur an additional 3%).
Customers who have an account with Us can make payment by cheque. Cheques
are to be made payable to "A+ Professional Home Services Ltd".
We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest and
compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation
if We are not paid according to agreed credit terms. If paying by cheque,
the customer will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting
from a dishonored cheque. Only account customers are entitled to delayed
payments of works within specified time arranged between The Client
and The Company. All other client payments must be paid in full on the
day of the service.
Claims / Guarantee
A+ Professional Home Services Ltd is covered under a public and employer's
liability insurance.
All A+ Professional Home Services Ltd Operators have public liability
insurance. Their policies will cover any accidental damages caused by
an Operative working on behalf of A+ Professional Home Services Ltd.
The customer accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage
or presumed theft must be reported within 48 hours from the service
date. Should A+ not be notified of any discrepancies / dissatisfaction
within 48 hours of completion of works, the services / works completed
shall be deemed as satisfactory. The customer agrees to allow A+ access
to the property to rectify / re-service any disputed areas / items before
arranging for a third party to carry out additional cleaning services.
A+ will not be held responsible for any cost incurred should The Client
arrange for a third party to carry out additional cleaning services
to their property, where A+ has not been given the opportunity to rectify
discrepancies. The customer or a customer's representative must be present
at the time of completion of the works so an inspection can be carried
out and any corrections can be made on site on the same day. If the
customer has scheduled an inventory check, then it must be scheduled
to commence no later than 24 hours after the cleaning job has been completed.
No refund claims will be entertained once the cleaning service
has been carried out.
In case of damage A+ Professional Home Services Ltd's Operators
will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired A+
Professional Home Services Ltd’s Operators will credit the customer
with the item's present actual cash value toward a like replacement
from an A+ Professional Home Services Ltd's source, upon payment of
cleaning services rendered. All fragile and highly breakable items must
be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery,
items of sentimental value (cash value only), art and antiques. Whilst
every effort is made to prevent damage, A+ Professional Home Services
Ltd and its Operators shall not be responsible for:
- cleaning jobs not complete due to the lack of suitable cleaning
materials and/or equipment in full working order, i.e. hot water or
power;
- third party entering or present at the customer's premises during
the cleaning process;
- shrinkage to carpets that are poorly fitted;
- damage to upholstery where cleaning instructions are not clearly
visible;
- wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt
has been removed;
- failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using
standard carpet cleaning methods; existing damage or spillage that
cannot be cleaned/removed
- completely using standard cleaning equipment.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United
Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees
to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the
United Kingdom.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time
and without notice.

Quotation & Acceptance
By accepting A+ Professional Home Services Ltd's service by telephone,
e-mail or fax, The Customer agrees to be bound by A+ Professional Home
Services Ltd's Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse or decline work at Our own discretion.
Where A+ Professional Home Services Ltd agrees to carry out works for
The Customer, those works shall be undertaken by the designated Operative
of The Company at its absolute discretion. All prices are subject to
an inspection of The Customer's property and a written quotation which
shall remain valid for a period of 60 days. On acceptance of a quotation
the Client gives Us permission to order/purchase materials/items required
for works as stated within the quotation.
Quotations are based on a thorough assessment of the work to be done,
and are an itemized estimate of all the work to be completed. While
every effort is made to quote work as accurately as possible, it is
sometimes necessary to include an additional sum in the final account
for items and labour, which could not be foreseen at the estimation
stage. These items will always be discussed and confirmed with the Client
at the earliest opportunity. A+ Professional Home Services Ltd reserves
the right to amend the initial quotation, should the Client's original
requirements change.
Where a quote has been supplied to The Customer, the total amount referred
to in the quote may be revised in the following circumstances:
I. If after submission of the quote, The Customer instructs
The Company (whether verbally or in writing) to carry out additional
works not referred to in the original quotation
II. If after submission of the quote, there is an increase
in the price of materials
III. If after submission of the quote, it is discovered
that further works need to be carried out which were not anticipated
when the quote was prepared
IV. If after submission of the quote, it is discovered
that there was a manifest error when the quote was prepared
The Company shall not be under any obligation to provide a quote to
The Customer & shall only be bound by a quote given in writing to
The Customer & signed by an authorised representative of The Company.
The Company shall not be bound by any quotes given verbally or in which
manifest errors occur.
If it is deemed impossible for Us to commence works on a previously
agreed quotation, We will supply You with a new free of charge quotation,
which You can review and choose to accept or decline. If You wish to
decline the updated quote, there will be no charge payable by You.
Where it is deemed impossible to continue works that have already commenced
at Your property due to no fault or consequence of Our own, and where
materials have already been purchased by Us, the cost of all materials
will be the responsibility of The Customer.
We will use reasonable endeavours to complete the services, in accordance
with the time estimate given, but any such time shall be an estimate
only and time shall not be of the essence of this agreement. We shall
use all reasonable endeavours to observe all health and safety rules
and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements that
apply at the Client’s property and that have been communicated
to Our Operator.
Cancellation
A cancellation charge of £100 + VAT will be incurred for cancellation
of all wood flooring works if cancelled less than 24 hours prior to
the works commencing.
This cancellation charge does not include the repayment of materials
purchased by A+ for the completion of works for which the Client will
be responsible for payment of in the event of a cancellation.
Equipment
A+ shall provide all equipment, supplies, products and other materials
required to carry out the service unless agreed otherwise with the Client.
The Client must provide running water and electricity at the premises
where the service takes place.
Depending on the time taken to perform the Services, We may leave certain
tools and equipment at the Client’s property. If there is any
particular area You wish Us to store these please advise the Operator.
The Client undertakes to take reasonable steps to ensure the security
of any tools and equipment stored at the Client’s property and
ensure that children do not have access to them. All right, title and
interest in Our tools and equipment remain with Us and the Client will
ensure that at all times We are allowed access to recover such tools
and equipment from the Client’s property.
Payment
On booking in quoted works with Us, We reserve the right to request
full debit or credit card details to confirm/secure Your booking. We
also reserve the right to request a 50% deposit for these works where
the remainder is payable within 24 hours of completion. By completion
We mean the final application of the sealing/hardening product. We will
not send an invoice out for the final payment. If We do not receive
any notification or communication with regards to final payment, this
amount will be deducted from the card details provided by the Client
when the booking is secured.
A VAT receipt will be provided to the Client once full payment has
been received. Method of payment must be agreed prior to works commencing.
Payment methods accepted - Direct funds transfer, Switch, Solo, Visa,
MasterCard, Cash (Credit Cards incur an additional 3%).
We understand and will exercise Our statutory right to interest and
compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation
if We are not paid according to agreed credit terms. Please note that
within insurance claims, We cannot claim from insurance on a Client’s
behalf. The Client is responsible for payment of all works whereupon
they may claim back from insurance.
Claims / Guarantee
We accept no responsibility for damage to personal belongings, furniture
or carpets within the property. Such items should be removed by the
property owner prior to the start of work. Should Our workmen be requested
to move any furniture or possessions, it is at owners own risk. This
may be chargeable and could affect the estimated time of completion.
No refund claims will be entertained once the works have been
completed. Within reason We will endeavor to rectify discrepancies reported
to Us.
These terms and conditions may not be released, discharged, supplemented,
interpreted, varied or modified in any manner except by an instruction
in writing signed by Our authorised Representative and You. Our terms
and conditions shall prevail over any terms and conditions used by You
or contained, set out or referred to in any documentation sent to Us
by You. By entering into a contract with Us, You agree irrevocably to
waive the application of any of these terms and conditions.
We shall have no liability to the Client under this agreement if We
are prevented from or delayed in performing Our obligations under this
agreement or from carrying on Our business by acts, events, omissions
or accidents beyond Our reasonable control, including strikes, lock-outs
or other industrial disputes (whether involving Our workforce or any
other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act
of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with
any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident,
breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers
or sub-contractors.
VAT
All A+ Professional Home Services Ltd prices are subject to VAT.

If You wish to order Your own materials, We will be happy to collect
them for You, within reason, from a local supplier, but there will be
a charge for the time involved in picking them up which should be kept
to a minimum. If You are responsible for ordering materials such as
flooring, tiles, kitchen and bathroom fittings, paint or any other items
required to complete works please make sure they arrive on time. Additional
call outs to complete unfinished work due to delays in the order thereof
that is due to no fault on Our part, will incur additional costing.
Rescheduling of works will be subject to the availability of A+ Professional
Home Services Ltd Operators.
Cancellation

prior to the works commencing.
This cancellation charge does not include the repayment of materials
purchased by A+ for the completion of works for which the Client will
be responsible for payment of in the event of a cancellation.

Conditions.

Where A+ agrees to carry out works for The Customer, those works shall
be undertaken by the chosen / designated Operative of The Company. All
prices are subject to an inspection of The Customer's property and a
written quotation which shall remain valid for a period of up to 60
days only.
A+ offers a free, no obligation quotation, with pragmatic and imaginative
advice.
Quotations are based on a thorough assessment of the work to be done,
and are a fully itemized estimate of all the work to be completed. While
every effort is made to quote work as accurately as possible, it is
sometimes necessary to include an additional sum in the final amount
for items and labour which could not be foreseen at the quotation stage.
These items will always be discussed and confirmed with The Customer
at the earliest opportunity. A+ reserves the right to amend the initial
quotation, should The Customer’s original requirements change.

Title To Goods
Title to any goods, supplied by The Company to The Customer shall not
pass to The Customer but shall remain the property of A+ until full
payment for goods has been made by The Customer.
Until such time as title of such goods has passed to The Customer:
I. The Company shall have absolute authority to repossess,
sell or otherwise deal with or dispose of all any or part of such goods
in which title remains vested in The Company
II. For the purpose specified in (i) above, The Company
or any of its agents or authorised representatives shall be entitled
at any time & without notice to enter any premises in which goods
or any part thereof is installed, stored or kept, or is reasonably believed
so to be
III. The Company shall be entitled to seek legal intervention
to prevent The Customer from selling,transferred or otherwise disposing
of such goods
Notwithstanding the abovementioned, risk in such goods shall pass on
delivery to The Customer, and until such time as the title of goods
has passed to The Customer, shall insure such goods to their replacement
value and shall forthwith, upon request, provide The Company with a
certificate or other evidence of such insurance.
Works
Hourly Rate Work
The total charge to The Customer shall consist of the cost of materials
supplied by The Company & the amount of time spent by the Operative
in carrying out works (including all reasonable time spent in obtaining
non-stocked materials) charged in accordance with The Company’s
current hourly rates. The Customer shall only be charged for the time
spent related to The Customer’s work. All charges are subject
to VAT at the prevailing rate except in cases where the work carried
out is zero rated.
Where the date and/or time for works to be carried out is agreed by
The Company with The Customer, then The Company shall use its best endeavors
to ensure that the Operative shall attend on the date and at the time
agreed. However, The Company accepts no liability in respect of the
non attendance or late attendance on site of the Operative/Engineer
or for the late or non delivery of materials.
The Company shall not be liable for any delay of, or for the consequences
of any delay in performing any of its obligations if such delay is due
to any cause whatsoever beyond its reasonable control. The Company shall
be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for performing such obligations.
Fixed Price Work
This shall be given as a firm cost including Labour & Materials
(unless previously agreed that The Customer will provide their own Materials)
All cost are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate except in cases where
the work carried out is zero rated.
Material Collection
Collection of non-stock items is chargeable but:
I. It may become necessary to leave the site of The
Customer to pick up non-stock items. We endeavor to inform The Customer
of this where possible
II. Time must be kept to a minimum & reasonable
III. A charge of one hour (equal to the hourly rate
provided) for any local material pickup
IV. Where We have to order items on Your behalf the
collection time should be kept reasonable and the collection time to
a minimum
V. An administration fee may be charged for the sourcing
of specialist items
Claims / Guarantee / Insurance
A+ Professional Home Services Ltd is covered under a public and employer's
liability insurance.
All A+ Operators have public liability insurance. Their policies will
cover any accidental damages caused by an Operative working on behalf
of A+ Professional Home Services Ltd. Engineers operate under their
own Corgi Registration & as such are solely responsible for any
Gas related work & subsequent liability.
These terms and conditions may not be released, discharged, supplemented,
interpreted, varied or modified in any manner except by an instruction
in writing signed by Our authorised representative and You. Our terms
and conditions shall prevail over any terms and conditions used by You
or contained, set out or referred to in any documentation sent to Us
by You. By entering into a contract with Us, You agree irrevocably to
waive the application of any of these terms and conditions.
The Guarantee shall be for labour only in respect of faulty workmanship.
The Guarantee will become null & void if the work/appliance completed/supplied
by The Company is:
(a) Subject to misuse or negligence
(b) Repaired, modified or tampered with by anyone other
than a Company Operative
The Company will accept no liability for, or guarantee suitability
of materials supplied by The Customer & will accept no liability
for any consequential damage or fault.
I. The Company will not guarantee any work in respect
of blockages in waste & drainage systems etc.
II. The Company will not guarantee any work undertaken
on instruction from The Customer & against the written or verbal
advice of the Operative/Engineer
III. Work is guaranteed only in respect of work directly
undertaken by The Company & payment in full has been made
IV. Any non-related faults arising from recommended
work which has not been undertaken by The Company will not be guaranteed
V. The Company shall not be held liable or responsible
for any damage or defect resulting from work not fully guaranteed or
where recommended work has not been carried out
VI. Work will not carry a guarantee where The Customer
has been notified by the Operative either verbally or in writing of
any other related work which requires attention
VII. The Customer shall be solely liable for any hazardous
situation in respect of Corgi Regulations or Gas Warning Notice issued.
VAT
All A+ Professional Home Services Ltd prices are subject to VAT.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United
Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them The Customer agrees
to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the
United Kingdom.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time
and without notice.

Energy Performance Certificates
A+ Professional Home Services Ltd respects Your privacy.
Personal information [i.e. name, contact details and address] captured
by A+ will be used for the sole purpose of responding to Your request,
or to contact You with relevant information regarding Your request.
Under no circumstances will this information be shared with third parties
or used for spam. If You wish to remove or change Your information,
We will promptly take action to comply with Your request.
Acceptance
By accepting A+ Professional Home Services Ltd's service by telephone,
e-mail or fax, The Customer agrees to be bound by A+ Professional Home
Services Ltd's Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse or decline work at Our own discretion.
Where A+ Professional Home Services Ltd agrees to carry out works for
The Customer, those works shall be undertaken by the designated Operative
of The Company at its absolute discretion.
Cost
Our prices are clearly stated within Our Website.
Payment for the service of an Energy Performance Certificate must be
received in full before Your order can be confirmed. Payment is only
acceptable via debit card, credit card or direct bank transfer. Credit
cards incur a 3% bank charge. The cost of congestion is additional should
Your property fall within the congestion zone borders. We will confirm
Your order once We have received payment in full. Once Your booking
has been confirmed, the contract between Us and You becomes legal and
binding. The prices payable for the service that You order are as set
out in Our Website.
Delivery and Performance
We will use reasonable endeavours to complete the services, in accordance
with the time estimate given, but any such time shall be an estimate
only and time shall not be of the essence of this agreement. We shall
use all reasonable endeavors to observe all health and safety rules
and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements that
apply at the Client’s property and that have been communicated
to Our Operator.
Cancellation
By Us:
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between Us if:
I. We have insufficient personnel to carry out Your
order;
II. Our personnel do not work in Your area; or
III. Your order was listed at an incorrect price due
to a typographical error.
IV. If We do cancel the contract, We will notify You
by email and We will either offer an alternative or re-credit to Your
account any sum deducted by Us from Your credit card as soon as possible.
We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment
suffered or for any other reason arising form a confirmed cancellation
by Us as stated within the below Liability clause.
By You:
Should You cancel the confirmed appointment within 24 hours of the appointment,
We will charge a cost equal to half of the Energy Performance Certificate.
The balance will be reimbursed to You. There will be no charge should
a cancellation be made outside of 24 hours of the appointment. For any
cancellation to become effective with Us You will need to receive confirmation
from Us either via email, post or fax with a cancellation code.
Liability
The following provisions set out Our entire financial liability to You
(including any liability for the acts or omissions of Our employees,
agents and sub-contractors) in respect of
I. any breach of this agreement,
II. any representation, statement or tortuous act or
omission (including negligence) arising under or in connection with
this agreement and
III. any warranties, conditions and other terms implied
by statute or common law (which for the avoidance of doubt are, to the
fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from this agreement
IV. confirmed cancellation made by Us
Nothing in this agreement limits or excludes Our liability for death
or personal injury resulting from negligence; or for any damage or liability
incurred by You as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
by Us.
Subject to the foregoing We shall not be liable, whether in tort (including
for negligence or breach of statutory duty), contract, misrepresentation
or otherwise for
I. loss of profits,
II. loss of business; or
III. depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses,
IV. loss of anticipated savings,
V. loss of use, or
VI. any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic
loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.
Our total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach
of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising
in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this
agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the Services.
Though much care is taken to ensure that Our Website is correct and
available at all times, We cannot take any responsibility for any delays,
interruptions, unintentional errors or restrictions.
We are not liable to carry out any assessment of Your property should
a minor be onsite without adult supervision. Should such an occurrence
arise, the assessment will not be completed.

Home Information Packs
The Certificate / HIPS
All clear assumptions and limitations are stated below:
I. An assessment is made of as much of the internal
and external surface area as possible. This is a non-invasive, visual
inspection and the Assessor will not move furnishings, belongings or
lift carpets to facilitate the inspection.
II. We will not test any service installations.
III. Where We are unable to assess parts of Your property
due to lack of access, We will be unable to report or comment on any
energy systems that are inaccessible or covered and these will not be
included in the Certificate.
IV. The proximity of buildings, trees or any other
external elements may hinder the exterior inspection of a property.
Any roof attic and upper areas are inspected from ground level or from
an available vantage point, together with any other loft attics or flat
roofs. These can be assessed with due regards to safety from a ladder.
Any items stored within any loft or attic will not be moved.
V. We are not liable for the grade awarded within the
Certificate which You obtain as a result of Our assessment of Your property
as this is marked on a standard scale.
Force majeure
We shall have no liability to You under this agreement if We are prevented
from or delayed in performing Our obligations under this agreement or
from carrying on Our business by acts, events, omissions or accidents
beyond Our reasonable control, including strikes, lock-outs or other
industrial disputes (whether involving the Our workforce or any other
party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God,
war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law
or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, fire,
flood, storm or default of suppliers or sub-contractors..
Severance
If any provision (or part of a provision) of this agreement is found
by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain
in force.
If any invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision would be valid,
enforceable or legal if some part of it were deleted, that provision
will apply with whatever modification is necessary to make it valid,
enforceable and legal.
We may at any time assign, transfer, charge, sub-contract or deal in
any other manner with all or any of Our rights or obligations under
this agreement.
This agreement may be executed in counterparts
All A+ Professional Home Services Ltd prices are subject to VAT.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United
Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them The Customer agrees
to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the
United Kingdom.
We reserve the right to change Our Terms and Conditions, policies or
Website without prior notification.

Quotation & Acceptance
By accepting A+ Professional Home Services Ltd's service by telephone,
e-mail or fax, The Customer agrees to be bound by A+ Professional Home
Services Ltd's Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse or decline work at Our own discretion.
Where A+ Professional Home Services Ltd agrees to carry out works for
The Customer, those works shall be undertaken by the designated Operative
of The Company at its absolute discretion. All prices are subject to
an inspection of The Customer's property and a written quotation which
shall remain valid for a period of 60 days. On acceptance of a quotation
the Client gives Us permission to order/purchase materials/items required
for works as stated within the quotation.
Quotations are based on a thorough assessment of the work to be done,
and are an itemized estimate of all the work to be completed. While
every effort is made to quote work as accurately as possible, it is
sometimes necessary to include an additional sum in the final account
for items and labour, which could not be foreseen at the estimation
stage. These items will always be discussed and confirmed with the Client
at the earliest opportunity. A+ Professional Home Services Ltd reserves
the right to and the initial quotation, should the Client's original
requirements change.
Where a quote has been supplied to The Customer, the total amount referred
to in the quote may be revised in the following circumstances:
I. If after submission of the quote, The Customer instructs
The Company (whether verbally or in writing) to carry out additional
works not referred to in the original quotation
II. If after submission of the quote, there is an increase
in the price of materials
III. If after submission of the quote, it is discovered
that further works need to be carried out which were not anticipated
when the quote was prepared
IV. If after submission of the quote, it is discovered
that there was a manifest error when the quote was prepared
The Company shall not be under any obligation to provide a quote to
The Customer & shall only be bound by a quote given in writing to
The Customer & signed by an authorised representative of The Company.
The Company shall not be bound by any quotes given verbally or in which
manifest errors occur.
If it is deemed impossible for Us to commence works on a previously
agreed quotation, We will supply You with a new free of charge quotation,
which You can review and choose to accept or decline. If You wish to
decline the updated quote, there will be no charge payable by You.
Where it is deemed impossible to continue works that have already commenced
at Your property due to no fault or consequence of Our own, and where
materials have already been purchased by Us, the cost of all materials
will be the responsibility of The Customer. We will use reasonable endeavours
to complete the services, in accordance with the time estimate given,
but any such time shall be an estimate only and time shall not be of
the essence of this agreement.
We shall use all reasonable endeavours to observe all health and safety
rules and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements
that apply at the Client’s property and that have been communicated
to Our Operator.
If You wish to order Your own materials, We will be happy to collect
them for You, within reason, from a local supplier, but there will be
a charge for the time involved in picking them up which should be kept
to a minimum. If You are responsible for ordering materials such as
flooring, tiles, kitchen and bathroom fittings, paint or any other items
required to complete works please make sure they arrive on time. Additional
call outs to complete unfinished work due to delays in the order thereof
that is due to no fault on Our part, will incur additional costing.
Rescheduling of works will be subject to the availability of A+ Professional
Home Services Ltd Operators.
Cancellation
A cancellation charge of £100 + VAT will be incurred for cancellation
of all painting & decorating works if cancelled less than 24 hours
prior to the works commencing.
This cancellation charge does not include the repayment of materials
purchased by A+ for the completion of works for which the Client will
be responsible for payment of in the event of a cancellation.
Equipment
A+ shall provide all equipment, supplies, products and other materials
required to carry out the service unless agreed otherwise with the Client.
The Client must provide running water and electricity at the premises
where the service takes place.
Depending on the time taken to perform the Services, We may leave certain
tools and equipment at the Client’s property. If there is any
particular area You wish Us to store these please advise the Operator.
The Client undertakes to take reasonable steps to ensure the security
of any tools and equipment stored at the Client’s property and
ensure that children do not have access to them. All right, title and
interest in Our tools and equipment remain with Us and the Client will
ensure that at all times We are allowed access to recover such tools
and equipment from the Client’s property.
Payment
On booking in quoted works with Us, We reserve the right to request
full debit or credit card details to confirm/secure Your booking. We
also reserve the right to request a 50% deposit for these works where
the remainder is payable within 24 hours of the Client being advised
of completion by the Company. We will not send an invoice out for the
final payment. If We do not receive any notification or communication
with regards to final payment, this amount will be deducted from the
card details provided by the Client when the booking is secured.
A VAT receipt will be provided to the Client once full payment has
been received. Method of payment must be agreed prior to works commencing.
Payment methods accepted - Direct funds transfer, Switch, Solo, Visa,
MasterCard, Cash (Credit Cards incur an additional 3%). We understand
and will exercise Our statutory right to interest and compensation for
debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if We are not
paid according to agreed credit terms.
Please note that within insurance claims, We cannot claim from insurance
on a Client’s behalf. The Client is responsible for payment of
all works whereupon they may claim back from insurance.
Claims / Guarantee
We accept no responsibility for damage to personal belongings, furniture
or carpets within the property. Such items should be removed by the
property owner prior to the start of work. Should Our workmen be requested
to move any furniture or possessions, it is at owners own risk. This
may be chargeable and could affect the estimated time of completion.
No refund claims will be entertained once the works have been
completed. Within reason We will endeavor to rectify discrepancies reported
to Us.
These terms and conditions may not be released, discharged, supplemented,
